Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Opportunity in Southwest Iowa

Join a well-supported outpatient practice affiliated with a respected Critical Access Hospital serving southwest Iowa. You'll step into an established patient base with strong community demand and the support of an experienced clinical team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician seeking stability, autonomy, and a four-day work week with no required call.

Practice Overview

• You'll join 2 physicians and 6 APPs across established rural health clinics
• 100% outpatient practice with no required inpatient responsibilities
• See 16-20 patients per day; 30-minute new visits and 15-20-minute follow-ups
• Dedicated MA or RN support, 2-3 exam rooms, private office, and EPIC EMR

Schedule

• Four-day work week: 36 clinical hours + 4 administrative hours
• Typically Monday-Friday with one weekday off
• Administrative time can be completed from home
• No required call; after-hours and weekends handled by triage service

Compensation & Benefits

• $321,000 guaranteed base salary for first two years
• $10,000 annual quality bonus; transition to production model after year two
• $25,000 sign-on bonus and $15,000 relocation assistance
• 240 hours PTO, $3,500 CME allowance, malpractice coverage, full health benefits, and retirement plan

Candidate Requirements

• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Completion of accredited FM or IM residency; Pediatricians also considered
• Open to both new graduates and experienced physicians
• Eligible for Iowa medical licensure, H1 visa sponsorship available
