Hedrick Medical Center, a 25-bed critical access hospital in Chillicothe, MO, is seeking a BC/BE family medicine physician to join a well-established outpatient clinic as part of Saint Luke’s in Kansas City, MO.
Position Highlights:
- This role offers a traditional primary care panel with the opportunity to broaden your practice scope in a rural setting
- Our primary care clinic is part of a hospital-based multispecialty campus, offering on-site access to a wide range of specialists, including OB/GYN and General Surgery in the same clinic, for a highly collaborative environment
- Enjoy a balanced schedule with a 4-day work week (32 patient contact hours) plus one dedicated admin day; no weekends required
- The ideal candidate will be supported by excellent MA’s and nurses, with strong collaboration with APPs
- Physicians have the option to round at local nursing homes; routine clinic call is handled by APPs
- Opportunity to precept medical students, if desired
- Patients with acute conditions have access to same-day clinic appointments for timely care; imaging and laboratory services are offered onsite to streamline patient care
